Milk Collection: Wii U Edition

Milk Outside a Bag of Milk Outside a Bag of Milk is a short story of a mentally ill girl as she struggles with her thoughts and reality. The player takes on the role of an internal voice, accompanying the girl as she attempts to process her trauma and daily life. The story is grimly abstract, dreamlike, and unsettling.

- It's staring at me. Like it knows I'm the only one who remembers Miiverse.

(Miiverse is gone.)

- Exactly. So why do I still hear doodles?

(Maybe the console's haunted.)

- No. Just lonely. Like it's waiting for someone to actually use the second screen.

(You could try.)

- And risk becoming that girl who cries over virtual consoles? Pass.

(But you're already crying.)

- It's the games. They're... nostalgic.

(You're deflecting.)

- Look, the Wii U's a mess. Boots up slow, dies faster than my social battery. But...

(But?)

- It's got this thing. Like it's screaming, "HEY, I COULD'VE BEEN COOL," but no one's home

(Except modders.)

- ...Yeah. They gave it a second chance, not because they had to, because they wanted to. That is...Beautiful.

(Like you?)

- Shut up. Let's just play before the servers remember they're dead too.
